Welcome to GoldingArts

It's been an eventful year for the whole country, with Canterbury bearing the brunt of two terrible earthquakes that opened our eyes to the fact that we live at the edge of the world, and it's stirring.

These events also opened up the eyes of the world to the resilience and bravery of Cantabrians. Everyone has been touched by the losses suffered and the ongoing stress the aftershocks are causing.

To contribute to a worthy cause, we’ve created two

zoomable’ online galleries showcasing unsurpassed detail:

GALLERYWINDOWSGALLERYGIGGA

Click on the images above to view the galleries,

remember to zoom in to see the detail.

The first is of a collection of stained glass windows from Christchurch Cathedral, St Mary’s in Merivale and The Arts Centre. Sadly all of these locations have suffered severe damage. (More windows will be edited and added in the coming weeks).

The second is a collection of our favourite Gigapixel images, giant photos created by stitching together hundreds or thousands of separate images.

FUNDRAISER

e-cards and Posters

To raise funds for Christchurch Cathedral and the Earthquake appeal there is the option to send an e-card of your favourite view. All we ask is that you make a donation to either of the appeals. A donation button is present on each artwork for you to do this if you choose. Feel free to post views on Facebook or your favourite social media site.

We have also produced a range of posters displaying Christchurch Stained Glass, these are available for sale on TradeMe. More will be added every day over the next month. All profits from these posters will go to the appeals.

Limited edition prints of scenes from Christchurch are also available, with 50% of each sale going to the Earthquake Appeal.

Please note that the images may not be used commercially without written permission from GoldingArts.
